ifi AUDIO / ZEN CAN is a high-performance headphone amplifier with a fully balanced design and 1600mW output power that powerfully drives your headphones.

■ZEN CAN features a "Class A Discrete" balanced circuit, a trickle-down technology from iFi's flagship Pro iCAN. With a maximum output of 15.1V @ 300Ω, it has incredible power to pump out thumping bass from even the hardest-to-drive headphones. ■XBass is an active EQ circuit that solves a common drawback of headphones: a lack of bass. Especially in open-back headphones, it allows all frequencies (especially the low frequencies where the driver's output rolls off) to radiate freely out the back, rather than being reflected and reaching the ears. XBass equalization is a much more sophisticated solution to bass compensation than a typical EQ circuit. It is made up of active and passive circuits, and its frequency response curve precisely corrects low-end response problems. ■Fully discrete balanced amplifier audio circuit. Fully symmetrical dual mono headphone amplifier with gold-plated 4.4mm balanced connectors. These premium technologies come at a cost, but they can reduce the noise floor to a whisper. ■The "Class A Discrete" circuitry in the ZEN CAN is the same as that found in iFi's flagship headphone amplifier, the Pro iCAN, and has been ported almost directly from the Pro iCAN. ■TDK's C0G (Class 1 Ceramic) capacitors provide high stability and low loss for resonant circuit applications. They are expensive, but they are the perfect components for our products. ■The XBass analog bass compensation system corrects lost bass response in headphones and speakers. ■Enables the experience of listening to music "outside your head".
