The Jet BT is constructed with a select 1.85" mahogany body and maple top, which produces a powerful and balanced midrange. The chambered body also provides a smooth attack and a wide, harmonious and rich frequency range. It is equipped with the new Gretsch Broad'Tron BT65 pickup. Designed by Tim Shaw, the BT65 delivers powerful mids, extended lows and clear, smooth highs. The result is a perfect balance of overwhelming power and a rich dynamic range, delivering unparalleled overdrive and sparkling clean tones. The lower neck set significantly improves fret-to-fret travel while enhancing picking comfort and accuracy. The new rolled cutaway and tapered heel improve access to the higher frets, providing excellent playability while maintaining a vintage look.
