■ Newly developed triple resonator chamber and acoustic vortex
-The housing made from the finely machined aluminum block that does not shift by a small amount is equipped with three resonator chambers and an acoustic vortex. Each chamber improves the response of each constant frequency band and suppresses masking and distortion. And with acoustic vortex, it creates a sound that spreads naturally.
-The one equipped with a triple resonator chamber suppresses peaks in the frequency band of 6.5k to 10kHz and reproduces smooth and comfortable high frequencies.

■ Membrane foil (diaphragm) and redesigned voice coil
-The polished membrane foil pursues high internal loss, minimizes unwanted resonance and distortion that occur spontaneously (THD: 0.05% 94dB, 1 kHz), and provides a sense of stability suitable for a flagship True Response transducer. Providing a sound quality experience.
-The newly redesigned voice coil improves the performance of the magnet system, resulting in a natural and clear sound in the high range.

■ Evolved from IE800S

音質面、デザイン性、細部のパーツに至るまで、SENNHEISERのこだわりが詰め込まれた最上位モデルIE900。ハウジングはアルミブロックの削りだしから作られ、シンプルながらも上質さの伝わる高級感。フラッグシップモデルと感じられる作りの良さが手に取るだけでわかります。ハウジングは、継ぎ目が無く、細かな溝が刻まれていて、工芸品のようなデザイン性の高さが窺えます。
音質は、圧倒的な情報量の多さを感じられつつも、音の一つひとつが混ざることなく、クリアですっきりとした音質。
ベースやバスドラムの低音域は、しっかりとした厚みを表現し、低音好きでも満足できる重厚感。にも関わらず、低音の輪郭がダブついた感じや、他の帯域を邪魔してしまうようなことがありません。中高域には、クリアで耳に張り付くような滑らかさがあり、自然で非常に聴いていて心地よいサウンド。エフェクトの残響感やボーカルの細かな表情も、はっきりと表現してくれます。
