AMS Neve / 1073LB Mono Mic Preamp Module

A 1073 mic preamp in the API 500 series format. Traditional sound and modern new features that follow the original architecture are condensed into a compact 1-slot enclosure.

The 1073's loud, punchy sound complements all genres of music, from rock to pop, hip-hop to rap, slash to classical.
The 1073LB is a mic preamp module developed to combine the sound of the 1073 with the 500 series format.
Launched in 1970, the 1073 was the first choice of leading producers and artists, and continues to provide a unique sound in the recording history of the last 40 years.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the 1073LB inherits its unique sonic characteristics by using the same architecture, matching components and original hand-wound transformer as the original 1073 mic preamp. It's also achieved with the modern, portable form factor demanded by professional producers and engineers.
The 1073LB features new features such as fine TRIM control, switchable mic input impedance, signal presence LEDs, intelligent protect switching on the front combination XLR input connector, and Neve's clever audio processing input design.

-Adopts a dedicated Neve Marinair transformer for the input and output stages
-Both the microphone and line input are transformer-balanced and ground-free.
・ Gain knob (with signal presence LED)
・ Built-in + 5 / 20dB level trim control and phantom power on / off switch
・ Phase, impedance, front input selector switch
-Front combination XLR connector with intelligent switching of phantom power
Audio processing insert design allows the processing of adjacent 1073 LB EQ or 2264 ALB modules in the same 500 series rack to be inserted into the 1073 LB
-Mic input with a gain of -80db to -20dB in 5dB steps
・ Input impedance 4kΩ bridging, gain -20dB to + 10dB, 5dB step line input
・ Output is transformer-balanced and ground-free
・ Distortion rate of 0.07% or less at 50Hz to 10kHz, + 20dBu output
·Frequency characteristic. ± 0.5dB 20Hz-20kHz, -3dB at 40kHz
