Pickup selection
PASSIVE
This circuit amplifies the input from passive pickups with the best tone. It supports everything from low-output vintage pickups to the latest humbuckers.
ACTIVE
When using active pickups, you can bypass unnecessary gain stages to get a direct, clean sound.

AXE I/O SOLO is equipped with the same Z-TONE circuit as AXE I/O, which has been a hot topic for its continuously adjustable input impedance, and the input impedance can be adjusted from 2.2 kΩ (BOLD) to 1MΩ (SHARP).

Increasing the impedance value (turning it to the SHARP side) will give you a sharper, more crisp sound, and decreasing it (turning it to the BOLD side) will give you a softer, thicker sound.
