YAMAHA / YBS-62

The YBS62 baritone saxophone was born from the technology developed for the famous YAMAHA alto saxophone, the YAS62. The newly designed two-piece short bell improves tone uniformity and pitch in the low range. The lightweight keys and peg holders, the adoption of new parts, and the revised center of gravity balance make it easier to find a position and reduce strain on the hands. It features a rich tone. Standard gold lacquer model. Comes with a dedicated hard case with casters.

■New bell shape
The newly designed two-piece short bell contributes to uniform tone and improved pitch in the low range.
■New key layout
Lightweight keys and new parts are used. In addition, the center of gravity balance of the instrument has been reviewed, making it easier to naturally position the instrument, reducing the burden on the hands and improving operability.
■New peg holder
The peg holder has been made lighter.
