Iron Cobra's Power Glide is an original action that increases the speed of the beater head just before it hits the head by cutting only the top end of the circular wheel in a straight line.

The new model achieves both smooth action and power by making the cam (sprocket) 40% lighter than the previous model.

■Power-Strike Cobra Beater
The newly designed Cobra Beater has a smaller and thicker felt area that hits the head. It enhances the body resonance of the bass drum, obtains a thick core sound, and flattens the felt surface to emphasize the attack.
In addition, the beater head inherits the angle adjustment function, while improving control performance by reviewing the balance between the distance from the tip of the felt to the end and the shaft position. We have succeeded in achieving a core sound that does not blur even at low volume.

■Super Stabilizer Design
The width of the frame, which supports the shaft that drives the cam and beater, and can be said to be the skeleton of the pedal, has been expanded by about 15 mm, and the width of the underplate that supports the entire pedal has been expanded by about 12 mm from the previous model. By significantly improving stability, you can get a uniform action without shaking even with intense pedal work.

TAMA's original clamp, which securely holds bass drum hoops of various thicknesses, has been upgraded. The tip that secures the bass drum hoop is now rubber, which increases grip and provides strong fixing power while reducing damage to the hoop. In addition, the tip is designed to move in three dimensions, so even if the front of the bass drum is extremely raised, the tip will fit according to the angle and stabilize the pedal. In addition, the T-bolt that is tightened when fixing the pedal can be operated from the side of the footboard, so you can attach and remove the pedal while sitting on the stool.
