The DRAGON SKIN series of acoustic guitar strings, Medium 2-pack DSA-2/13, features DR's proprietary K3 coating, giving the string touch and clear sound of non-coated strings. Hand-wound phosphor bronze wire with K3 coating on hexagonal core. While providing a playing feel just like non-coated strings, it suppresses unnecessary overtones to provide a clearer, more expressive tone.
