HDSPe AIO Pro is the successor to the PCI Express audio interface ""HDSPe AIO"", which has gained tremendous support worldwide in the professional studio and broadcasting markets. It continues to be equipped with a variety of analog and digital input/output I/Os as its predecessor, and has been completely redesigned as an advanced PCI Express card with generous use of the latest technology.

By installing HDSPe AIO Pro in a powerful desktop PC, you can enable high-end and high-precision sound reproduction, editing, and AD/DA conversion. HDSPe AIO Pro is useful not only in the fields of music production, broadcasting, system design, and research and development, but also in building live streaming systems, gaming PCs, and home theater systems, allowing you to enjoy high-resolution, clear, and powerful sound.

HDSPe AIO Pro is the latest model of RME's Hammerfall DSP series, which has been built up based on 20 years of experience, and is an all-in-one reference audio interface with advanced I/O.

The next generation of PCI Express cards
The HDSPe AIO Pro has been completely redesigned based on the latest technology. All inputs and outputs, including SPDIF (coaxial) and AES/EBU (XLR), work simultaneously. It also features RME's unparalleled flexibility in the routing mixer ""TotalMix FX"" and ""SteadyClock FS"" that suppresses jitter from external clocks with a precision of 1/1000 trillionths of a second.

The HDSPe AIO Pro inherits the technology of the high-end AD/DA converter ""ADI-2 Pro"" and is equipped with the reference processors AK5572 and AK4490. The analog input range (+24 / +19 / +13 / +4 dBu) also adopts the circuit design of the ADI-2 Pro. Furthermore, the enhanced output reference levels (balanced: +24 / +19 / +13 / +4 dBu, unbalanced: +19 / +13 / +4 / -2 dBu) allow for more versatile audio systems. The HDSPe AIO Pro features a dedicated attenuator in the output section, which improves the signal-to-noise ratio and lowers the output impedance at low reference levels.

Another major highlight of the HDSPe AIO Pro is the newly developed headphone output, which provides extremely powerful and transparent sound. In addition, a mute relay with switchable output level prevents unwanted noise from being generated on the headphone output, as well as the analog XLR and RCA outputs, when the computer is turned on.

PCI Express Interface
The HDSPe AIO Pro is not just a PCI Express adaptation of existing PCI technology, but a genuine PCI Express solution developed from scratch. It takes full advantage of the advantages of this new format to achieve a breakthrough in multitrack audio performance.

PCI Express is a point-to-point connection, so data can be transferred between two points without sharing the bandwidth.

The HDSP system PCI Express interface, based on the PCI Express Base Specification v.1.1, is a one-lane PCI Express endpoint device that supports a line speed of 2.5Gbps. The bandwidth is 5Gbps, which is three to four times that of conventional PCI. Packet-based full duplex communication provides a transmission rate of up to 500 to 200 MB/s in each direction.

Zero CPU load
HDSPe AIO Pro performs many of its functions using DSP on the hardware. This allows stress-free operation without putting a load on the CPU even during multi-channel recording and playback.

Low latency design
The HDSP series has established its position by achieving astonishingly low latency settings that were previously impossible with the concept of sample buffers. Latency (audio delay), which inevitably occurs in computer-based music production and recording environments, can be set in eight stages. It can be reduced to a minimum of 0.7 ms.
