The third microphone produced through a collaboration between Rupert Neve Designs and sE Electronics, the RNT delivers the uncompromising performance and pristine musical character of the world's most acclaimed recording equipment.

Like the RNR1 and RN17, the RNT is the result of extensive research and development by Rupert Neve, Siwei Zou, and the joint team at Rupert Neve Designs and sE Electronics. This new flagship tube microphone brings the legendary sound of classic studio microphones to the modern era with unprecedented depth and clarity.

■Fully discrete Class A electronics in two active stages
Inside the RNT microphone chassis, the tube-based first stage houses a carefully hand-selected, low-noise ECC82 vacuum tube and a Rupert Neve Designs custom output transformer.

A second Rupert Neve Designs custom output transformer is housed within the floor box (power supply), which houses switches for directivity, filters, and gain.
This second stage is built around a custom op-amp found in Rupert Neve Designs' flagship recording console, the 5088, renowned for its unparalleled transparency and headroom.
Handcrafted and tuned in-house by skilled artisans, the large-diaphragm true condenser capsule is the finest sE has ever developed, following years of rigorous testing and listening.
Class-A electronics and a gain switch ensure a vast dynamic range with high SPL handling and extremely low-noise components. A low-cut filter switch also reduces low-frequency rumble and unwanted foot noise, balancing out excess low frequencies caused by the proximity effect.
The RNT can be used as a closed-mic for electric guitar speaker cabinets, wind instruments, drums, and many other instruments.
