The AT-BHA100 headphone amplifier and AT-DAC100 D/A converter allow you to fully enjoy high-resolution digital audio sources such as high-resolution audio with balanced Hi-Fi headphones.

■Hybrid system of vacuum tubes and power transistors
・We have developed the circuit and sound quality design cultivated in Audio-Technica's headphone amplifiers AT-HA5050H and AT-HA22TUBE to further refine the beautiful and warm tone. The unique acoustic characteristics that cannot be experienced anywhere else create a realistic spatial expression and high immersion of high-resolution sound sources.

■Four independent vacuum tubes in the pre-stage
・The vacuum tubes are made of JJ ELECTRONIC's Slovakian-made ""ECC83S"", which is well-known for its good sound quality and reliability. We are particular about the independence of the amplifier circuit and use a total of four vacuum tubes for each circuit. When the sound starts up, it is accompanied by natural and rich harmonic components, giving the sound thickness and realism.

■Each of the four power stages has a powerful power transistor
・Despite its compact size, it uses a power transistor with strong driving force. It can express high-sampling sound sources in a wide range and even the airiness.

■Four independent amplifier circuit structure
- In order to maximize the separation and resolution of the sound, the left and right amplifier circuits and the balanced hot and cold amplifier circuits are separated into four independent amplifier circuit structures. Crosstalk is suppressed and the sound field is expressed richly.

■Operational amplifier that brings out the characteristics of vacuum tubes
-Uses the high-end operational amplifier MUSES8820 made by NJR (New Japan Radio), which is well-known for its audio grade. It brings out the characteristics of vacuum tubes with a tone that matches the thickness and warmth of the sound.

■Relay switch suitable for vacuum tubes
-In order to express the separation and dynamism of the sound that vacuum tubes have, relay switches with low noise and excellent dynamics are used for the switches. There are no limitations on the dynamics of the power supply voltage, and there is no interference noise from the power supply that operates the semiconductor.

■Nichicon chemical capacitors
-Nichicon capacitors are used for the chemical capacitors. It contributes to the audio low-frequency characteristics and leads to powerful bass reproduction. In addition, the power supply is equipped with a large-capacity (10,000μF) chemical capacitor, and the power stage of each channel is also equipped with four large-capacity chemical capacitors in an independent configuration, supporting realistic spatial depiction.

■WIMA film capacitor / Shin-ei Capacitor film capacitor
- The film capacitors are made by WIMA and Shin-ei Capacitor, which are renowned in the industry. They have smooth, low-distortion acoustic characteristics and achieve natural, clear sound quality.

■4-layer board structure
- A structure with independent layers for the signal line, power line, and power ground is adopted. By making the signal path thicker and ensuring sufficient current, signal stability and rich low-frequency reproduction are achieved.

■Two balanced terminals
- Equipped with two systems, 4.4mm and XLR-4pin, it is compatible with a wide range of balanced connection headphones. The independent amplifier circuit also drives the drive circuit in a balanced manner, so you can enjoy high-quality sound with minimal noise.

■2 x 6.3mm unbalanced terminals

- Equipped with two 6.3mm output systems, two headphones with different impedances can be connected at the same time. You can compare the sound and adjust the volume of each with an individual volume knob.

■Gain switch
- Equipped with a low/high gain switch to accommodate the sensitivity and impedance of various headphones.

■Line-through output
- Equipped with a line-through output of an RCA terminal that is convenient for building and expanding a desktop system. For example, you can switch between headphones and powered speakers.

■External AC adapter
- To eliminate the influence of noise from the power supply, an external AC adapter with a separate power supply from the main unit is used. A large-capacity power supply unit realizes stable playback.

■Beautiful slit design that allows you to see the vacuum tube
- Vacuum tubes are placed inside the main unit to eliminate external noise and ensure stable playback. By providing slits on the four panels on the top, bottom, left and right, the heat dissipation of the vacuum tubes is improved, achieving a good S/N ratio with reduced thermal noise. The LED illumination, which glows warmly along with the vacuum tubes, creates a relaxing musical space.
