Developed to solve the reed problems that many woodwind players have, Legere Reed is a new material reed with almost the same vibration characteristics as natural cane. It has been studied from various angles, such as the cut angle, stiffness, vibration ratio, surface finish, and stability against humidity and temperature, and has achieved a comfortable blowing feel and tone compared to natural cane. In addition, the strength is developed in 1/4 increments (※) by high-precision computer processing to meet the needs of players in detail.

やはりシグネチャーに尽きる。

私は、歯並びが悪く、アンブシュアがなかなか定まらず、口の周りが疲れてくると、前歯の角にプラリードが当たり、１回の使用で、亀裂等が入ったりしました。前歯に挟むパラフィットを使ったりしましたが、下唇に圧がかかり、ピーピーと変な音がなったり、口の中に違和感を感じ、思い切ってメタルのMPに変えみました。パラフィットも使わず、前歯にくちびるの幅分だけかぶせ、アンブシュアを変えてみました。ラバーMPより、メタルMPの幅が狭いので、くちびるをかぶせるのが楽です。アルトもテナーも、ラバー、メタルともに持っていますが、プラリードだけでなく、葦のリードもいろいろ試しています。今後も、アンブシュアを大事にし、メタルMPとシグネチャーの組み合わせを中心にやっていきたいと思っています。シグネチャーばかり使っていると、慣れが生ずる恐れがあるので、葦のリードも併せて使っていく予定です。アンブシュアもメタルMPも変えて良かった。しかし、シグネチャーリードは、なんでこんなにも吹きやすいのでしょうか。??
