Legere resin reed. Classic Series (formerly Standard Series). Legere's standard model. It clearly produces the delicate pp that is essential for classical music. For German wind (Oehler system) clarinets only, strength is 3.50.

Developed to solve the reed problems that many woodwind players have, Legere reeds are made of a new material with vibration characteristics almost identical to those of natural cane. They have been studied from various angles, such as the cut angle, stiffness, vibration ratio, surface finish, and stability against humidity and temperature, to achieve a comfortable playing feel and tone that is more natural than natural cane. In addition, the strength is developed in 1/4 increments (※) through high-precision computer processing to meet the needs of players in detail.
