A model that makes it easier to handle the world of Apollo, the premium audio interface that Universal Audio is proud of, has been added to the family. The Apollo Solo is ideal for musicians, songwriters, and producers who want to record and mix easily and with good sound.

It can handle more than 100 types of UAD plug-ins that are used by professionals around the world, and can be used not only for mixing and mastering in a DAW, but also for launching inside Apollo Solo and using it in real time.
The two preamps on the Apollo Solo are Unison technology-enabled, emulating the behavior of well-known mic preamps, guitar amps, and more, not only in software but also in hardware.
Furthermore, if you are in a macOS environment, you can use Universal Audio's proud LUNA Recording System free of charge.

Not only for those who are making their debut in the world of Apollo/UAD-2 for the first time, but also for those who are already using the Apollo rack mount model and are looking for a more portable solution. In particular, Apollo Solo with Thunderbolt 3 connection operates on bus power, so you can use it for remote recording and live performance more freely.

■ Notes
・The Apple MacBook has a USB-C port, but it doesn't support Thunderbolt 3 so Apollo Solo won't work.
・Some computers are not compatible with Thunderbolt 3 even if they have a USB-C (Type-C) terminal.
・Apollo Solo runs on bus power with a Thunderbolt 3 connection (cannot be powered by a power cable or external power source).
・When using Apollo Solo with a laptop computer, we recommend connecting the computer to a power source.
・Thunderbolt 1/2 connection is not supported.
・Thunderbolt-Connections using FireWire adapters, Thunderbolt hubs, and other conversion adapters are not supported.
・Compatibility with AMD processor environment has not been tested and is not supported.
・Use in a 2-in-1 system (notebook/tablet) environment is not supported.
・Cannot coexist with UAD-1 devices.
・Use under Apple Boot Camp or virtual Windows environment is not supported.
