Studio One is characterized by its stylish appearance, designed by a German programmer. From version 5 onwards, ""AU, VST2, VST3 plug-in and ReWire support"" that previously required the purchase of an external add-on has become standard equipment. In addition, the clip gain envelope function allows you to intuitively and freely draw and edit audio volume.

Performing with virtual instruments, plug-in racks, and backing vocals has now become an essential part of live performance.
The new Show page lets you add backing tracks, virtual instruments, and plug-in racks for live musicians, all from a single intuitive interface. The interface also makes it easy to import content directly from any track on the Song page. So once your studio session is complete, your studio is more than half done.

VST/AU/ReWire Support
Added support for VST2/VST3/AU plug-ins (64-bit only), ReWire, and Studio One Remote.

Scoring
The new Score view, based on PRESONUS / Notion composition/notation software, lets you enter, view, and edit notes using musical notation. View multiple tracks simultaneously in a single Score view to create voicings, or use the Score view to edit one track while using the Piano or Drum view to edit other tracks.

Clip Gain Envelope
The new Clip Gain Envelope is the perfect tool to fix audio parts that are too loud or too soft without adding compressor or limiter plugins. Add breakpoints to the gain envelope by simply clicking on the curve and dragging the points to the desired position, or freely draw the envelope with the Paint tool.
Changes to Clip Gain are instantly reflected in the audio waveform, giving you a reliable visual representation of the overall level. What's more, Clip Gain Envelopes are sample-accurate, so they can be used to fix anything from an entire voiceover take to a single clip or pop. Clip Gain Envelopes are independent of event volume and fades. Gain Envelopes are clip-based, so gain adjustments are automatically applied to all audio events and parts that use the same audio clip, so you can fix everything used in your session in one go.

Melodyne 5 essential integration
Melodyne has been integrated since Celemony and PreSonus developed the ARA extension in 2011, but the new Melodyne 5 essential adds significantly improved vocal editing tools, chord detection, and chord grids. You can use Melodyne to detect chords and export them directly to Studio One's own chord track. Conversely, you can extract Melodyne's scale grid directly from Studio One's own chord track.

■About the download card
The delivery is a postcard-sized (100 x 148 mm) card with a pressure-sensitive adhesive. When you remove the adhesive, the inside will contain the product code (serial number), user registration, and instructions on how to obtain the software.
