- Its large body is equipped with sophisticated audio circuits, high-quality components, and a ""high-voltage battery pack."" The DX220Max has the potential to break the limits of sound quality in portable players that iBasso has developed so far.

■Clean power supply without pollution

- The DX220Max uses separate power management systems for the two independent sections, analog and digital, to supply power separately. Components such as ""photocouplers"" and ""I2C isolators"" are used for control and communication between each section to completely insulate. By preventing mutual interference that adversely affects sound quality, we promise sound that is truly faithful to the original sound.

■Direct drive with high voltage

- The analog section uses a ""+/- 8.4V high-voltage battery pack"" to directly power the amplifier circuit. We have avoided the adverse effects on sound quality such as output instability and noise interference due to boosting. This method brings a wonderful sense of sound density and driving force to the DX220Max. (A total of five batteries are installed inside)

■Selection by experienced engineers
・High-quality parts such as audio-grade polymer tantalum capacitors, electrolytic capacitors, and film capacitors manufactured by well-known manufacturers such as ""KEMET"", ""ROHM"", ""Toshin Kogyo"", ""Panasonic"", and ""Nichicon"", as well as iBasso's tuning technology, which has been highly acclaimed around the world, are integrated. After numerous parts selection and tuning, we have achieved a heavy sound that does not fit into the framework of previous portable devices.

■iBasso Super class A discrete amplifier circuit
・While maintaining the pleasant sound of a class A amplifier, it significantly suppresses transistor switching distortion and heat generation. Normally, there are many challenges in performing class A operation in portable devices, but the ""iBasso Super class A discrete amplifier circuit"", developed based on the highly acclaimed ""AMP8-replacement amplifier module"", solves the problem by optimizing the bias voltage. (20 transistors are used in the discrete circuit)

■ Luxurious body made of stainless steel
・DX220Max uses Sharp's ""5-inch Full HD LCD"" for the LCD panel, and its image quality will never be inferior to that of a smartphone.
The case material is carefully processed and made of stainless steel used in luxury watches. The body, in which these two elements are seamlessly integrated, gives a luxurious impression visually.
In addition, the stainless steel case not only has a visual effect, but also plays a role in preventing resonance and external magnetism that have a negative effect on sound quality. It makes the sound clearer and more open from high to low frequencies.

■ Two ""ES9028Pro""
・DX220Max uses dual ESS ""ES9028Pro"" with 8ch DAC function in one chip. In order to make the most of the performance of this DAC chip,
DX220Max's internal circuit is designed to completely separate the digital and analog power supply and control, and thoroughly insulates signal communication and ground.

- The DX220Max achieves an excellent S/N ratio of 125dB, and achieves a THD+N of -114dB even when high-sensitivity headphones are connected. You can immerse yourself in your music without even noticing the noise floor.

■Maximum output level of 8.8VRMS
- Equipped with three output terminals: 4.4mm balanced line output, 4.4mm balanced output, and 3.5mm single-ended output.
