This model faithfully reproduces the vintage DANELECTRO short horn model, commonly known as the ""DELUXE,"" while adding modern ease of use. The original DELUXE has become highly valued as a vintage guitar and is traded at extremely high prices. DANELECTRO has now reproduced this coveted guitar. It uses the ""50's Lipstick,"" which reproduces the sound of the lipstick pickup produced in the 1950s.
