This model faithfully reproduces the famous DANELECTRO U2, while adding modern ease of use. The original U-2 has become highly valued as a vintage guitar, and is traded for as much as $3,000. DANELECTRO has now reproduced this coveted guitar. It uses the ""50's Lipstick"" pickup, which reproduces the sound of the lipstick pickup produced in the 50s.
