アルミダイキャスト製で厚みがありプレス品より剛性が高く安心して使える。リード線やビス・ナット付属でこの価格は安い。カートリッジのモデル名が良く見えるショートタイプのデザインも良い。
シェルはやはりアルミ板プレスより削り出しか鋳造整形に限る。ヘッドシェルを換えて音質が変わるかどうか実感するほど聴き込んだことはないが、カートリッジを多数持つには高剛性で低価格のこのシェルで充分だ。
