■USB 3.0 MIDI interface

The M4U eX is a compact USB 3.0 MIDI interface with eight MIDI ports that can be used for both IN and OUT (automatic recognition).

Connect it to a computer and use it as a USB MIDI interface, or use it as a standalone MIDI thru box or MIDI merge box.

It also has a three-port USB 3.0 hub, allowing you to connect a USB dongle, USB MIDI keyboard, or an additional M4U eX (M8U eX). It's a very useful MIDI interface that can be used in anything from private studios to large-scale systems.

■Operation mode
Eight MIDI connectors function as ports 1-8 with IN/OUT, allowing for flexible connectivity.

When connected to a computer and used as a MIDI interface

Example: Up to eight output ports
All ports function as MIDI Out terminals.

Example: Up to eight input ports
All ports function as MIDI In terminals.

Example: Two input ports & six output ports
Since all ports support input and output, for example, ports 1-2 can be used as MIDI In terminals, and ports 3-8 can be used as MIDI Out terminals.

Example: Connect two M4U eX units simultaneously to increase the number of ports
You can add ports by connecting a second M4U eX (or M8U eX) to the USB hub port of the first M4U eX. It can easily accommodate large systems.
