■Applications:

The AV-HK1 is a stereo transformer isolation module for use with unbalanced high impedance audio inputs. Gold plated RCA phono jacks are provided for input and output connections. The AV-HK1 comes with two adapter cables for easy connection to products that use mini plugs and jacks.

The shield connection of each INPUT jack is electrically isolated from the case and from the output ground. The shield connection of each OUTPUT jack is connected to the case shield. A user audio source such as a computer, CD or cassette player, or other consumer audio equipment connects to the AV-HK1 INPUT. The OUTPUT should be connected to the input of a grounded audio system amplifier or mixer.

The INPUT and OUTPUT jacks are oriented left (L) and right (R) when viewed from the front of each terminal panel. Correct channel orientation is indicated on the front panel of the module.

The AV-HK1 is a rugged product designed for portable use. Mounting brackets are included for permanent installation. Many consumer audio inputs and outputs use stereo mini plugs and jacks. The AV-HK1 is shipped with two adapter cables for interfacing with these products. Cable kits are available separately from RDL® in case the cables deteriorate or become lost.
