・GAIN: Adjusts the distortion depth
・LEVEL: Adjusts the output level
TONE: Controls mainly the mid-range.
The 12 o'clock position is flat, and turning to the left scoops the low-mid range around 500Hz. At the same time, the 50Hz range is raised, resulting in a sound with emphasized bass.
Turning to the right raises the mid-range around 1kHz, resulting in a sound with a stronger attack.
・BITE: Adjusts the high range. The high-mid range is boosted/cut over a wide range centered around 3kHz.
The 12 o'clock position is flat, and turning to the left cuts the high range for a warm vintage sound,
turning to the right boosts the high range for a bright, punchy sound.
・MIX: Adjusts the balance between the clean signal and the distorted signal.
The 12 o'clock position is 50%/50%, and turning it to the left increases the ratio of clean signal, and turning it to the right increases the ratio of distorted signal.
*The clean signal is different from the bypass sound because it passes through the internal circuit. It is also affected by the equalization set with TONE and BITE.
・+ control: Adjusts the gain level added when the + switch is turned on. Since the maximum gain value is fixed, if GAIN is already set to maximum, turning on the + switch will not increase distortion.
・+ switch: Adds the gain set with the + control.
・On/off (GO!) switch: Switches the effect on/off.
