AP05mk2 is a personal amplifier with 5W+5W output that can easily play DIY speakers. Further improvements have been made to the popular previous model to achieve an even clearer and more balanced sound. The large, easy-to-adjust volume knob is located in the center, and combined with the compact steel case, it has a simple yet easy-to-use design.

Equipped with an auto-standby function that complies with the European environmental deployment design ErP directive. If the input to this unit continues to be in a state of no signal or a signal level close to that, it will automatically switch to standby mode and reduce power consumption to 0.5W or less. In addition, this function can be turned on/off and the time until standby mode is set to either 1 minute or 12 minutes using the dip switch on the bottom according to the usage environment and purpose.
■Maximum output: 5 W + 5 W (RMS) at 8 Ω load
■Suitable load impedance: 8 Ω to 16 Ω
■Frequency response: 20 Hz to 20 kHz
■Total harmonic distortion: Less than 0.1% (1 W output, 8 Ω load, 1 kHz)
■S/N ratio: 80 dB or more (A-weighted)
■INPUT: Terminal: Stereo mini jack, Input sensitivity: 630 mV
■Power supply: DC 12 V (dedicated AC adapter included)
■Power consumption: 22 W (maximum), 0.5 W or less (standby)

オートスタンバイ機能が素晴らしい。是非ONで使いましょう。使い始めや使い終わりに電源をいちいち気にする必要が無くなります。スタンバイ時に音量ノブを上げっぱのまま信号が入力されても特段ボフッみたいなノイズが出る心配も無いです。余ったパッシブスピーカーを活用しましょう。入力端子が背面の方がいいなぁという人は15W仕様のAP15mk2をどうぞ。
