EARTHQUAKER DEVICES / EQDLIFE

The collaboration model between SUNN O))) and EARTHQUAKER DEVICES, which sold out immediately when it was released in August 2019, is now back in limited edition as the Life Pedal V2. This is a distortion pedal equipped with an analog upper octave and booster. While the circuit itself has not changed, a new housing, EXP out, and flexi switch have been newly introduced.

■Controls
・Amplitude: Output setting of the distortion section. Adjusts the amount of distortion that faithfully reproduces the vintage ""White Face""
・Filter: Low pass filter setting. It has an effect from 500Hz to 30kHz, turning it to the right affects the high frequencies and turning it to the left affects the low frequencies.
・Distortion: Sets the amount of distortion. Turn the knob to the left for less distortion and to the right for more. It is possible to obtain a maximum gain of 60dB.
・Magnitude: Sets the output of the booster. A MOSFET booster designed to fully drive the pre-amp tube. Since it is a clean booster, it does not add distortion or change the tone, but it has enough power to drive the amplifier.
・Octave: Sets the octave. Located before the distortion, it can be blended into the distortion little by little. Analog octave developed using Russian germanium.
■Clip knob: Selection switch for clipping diodes.
・OpAmp: Op-amp. An open tone that gives the pedal the largest volume without a diode.
・Asymm: Asymmetric silicon. The asymmetrical clipping circuit with silicon diodes and one LED creates a slight compression, but still produces a smooth crunch like that of a tube amp.

-Symm: Symmetrical silicon. A familiar classic distortion that is close to the original using silicon diodes.
