Thunderbolt 3 Audio Interface

This 16-channel model (8 line + 8 mic pre) connects to your computer via Thunderbolt 3 and can handle up to 16 channels at 96kHz/192kHz. Up to six devices can be daisy-chained to a single Thunderbolt port.

The AURORA(n) is a next-generation mastering-grade AD/DA converter/audio interface designed for superior sound quality and functionality, and is available in a wide range of inputs and outputs and connection formats.

Even within a single rack space, the AURORA(n) features an analog signal path for each channel designed as an independent, shielded circuit.

This design offers numerous audio advantages, including improved dynamic range and performance while significantly reducing crosstalk and distortion.

The newly designed high-performance sample clock technology, SynchroLock, 2 delivers an astounding 300,000:1 jitter reduction, a 5-second lock time, and extremely high accuracy. With one input and three outputs via BNC connectors for word clock input and output, it's ideal as a master clock for small systems.

Despite its compact, single-rack-space design, the AURORA(n) offers exceptional expandability thanks to its modular architecture. Optional LSlot cards allow for interface changes such as Thunderbolt 3, DANTE, Pro Tools|HD, and USB. Expandable options include adding analog I/O modules in 8-channel increments for up to 32 channels, digital I/O modules, and mic preamp modules.

Other features include a built-in microSD recorder supporting up to 32 channels of direct recording and playback, and two high-end audio-grade headphone outputs with independent volume controls, making this converter ideal for a wide range of applications.
