The Warm Audio BUS-COMP is an all-analog, 2-channel stereo VCA compressor based on classic circuitry that has delivered silky smooth tones for decades. Stereo VCA compressors excel at controlling the dynamics of any source, but they have become widely known for their magical touch to stereo mixes.

The BUS-COMP is ideal for stereo mixes, drum mixes, drum overheads, acoustic guitars, keyboards, pianos, orchestral instruments, narration, and a wide variety of other sources. While primarily designed for stereo, the BUS-COMP can be used similarly with individual mono sources. This type of VCA compressor is appealing not only for its easy dynamic control, but also for the added tone and depth it provides to the audio signal even when compression is not applied.

While recreating legendary VCA compressor technology is the concept behind the BUS-COMP, there is also a focus on adding and refining options. One of its key features is the BUS-COMP function, which allows you to insert American-made CineMag transformers into a signal path driven by fully isolated op-amps.
