The integrated mix stage for parallel signal processing and the unique color control give you a lot of flexibility.

The entire unit is designed with a discrete class A topology, so even the most lo-fi sounds can benefit from the high-end touch of the Karacter. Enhance your tracks or change them all dramatically. It's up to the karacter.

マスタリング
2mixをPCから出して、アナログ機材を通してPCに戻さずDA3000で完了しています。
その外出し1発目に通します。m\sのサチュレーターとして使います。
ミッドでは、ほとんどドライブさせずにクリアで、サイドに輪郭を軽く出し自然になる様、ドライブ。必要に応じて、ほんのりステレオ感を調整。左右のリンクも完璧で、プラグインでは出来ない本物のディストーションでかなり満足しています。
ステレオトラックのアナログ出し
ブラス、ホーンセクション、ピアノ、オルガン、ドラムのハイハット、オーバーヘッドなどのステレオトラックのアナログ出しに大活躍です。
もちろん、ギター、ベース、スネアなど、モノも下手なデジタルプラグインよりナチュラルに使えます。
oramのEQ、コンプやチューブテックの真空管コンプ、リミッターと合わせて仕上げ、PCに再度取り込みます。
PC内だけでデジタル処理して混雑してしまい、EQのカットを多用して楽器を聴きやすくするより、アナログ出ししてからのmixの方が明らかに分離が良いので、本当の意味で楽曲が生きる様にミックス〔曲として纏まる様に〕方向に集中出来ます。
日本的音圧曲は、ボリューム下げたくなりますが、海外マスタリング曲は、超大音量でも絶対に破綻しない様な余裕があり、逆にボリューム上げて聴きたくなります。音量が小さくても大きくても、その曲に集中出来る様な仕上げをしたいと常に思っていますが、やはりアナログ機材は本当にまだまだ必要と思える、コスパに優れた素晴らしいメーカーです。
地味ですがかなり使えるアウトボードです。
