12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 converter with fiber transceiver. Supports 12G-SDI!

The Hi5-12G-TR transceiver can transmit one 4K/UltraHD SDI or Fiber source signal to one HDMI destination while passing it through to a second destination via SDI or Fiber. An automatic video source switching feature (supporting SDI and optional optical fiber inputs) is included on the Hi5-12G-R and Hi5-12G-TR, allowing automatic input switching based on what is selected via ""Switch Over Priority"". (Menu pull-down: Last Valid input, Priority SDI, Priority Optical)

* The HA5-12G consumes approximately 11W of power. It requires convection cooling. It is normal for it to be hot to the touch. When installing the device, ensure there is an air passage for proper internal cooling.
Do not stack the HA5-12G with other Mini-Converters.

◆◆4K and UltraHD◆◆
Generally, a 4K signal refers to a resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels. On the other hand, an UltraHD signal has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. Due to this difference, some monitors can only be used in either a full 4K workflow or an UltraHD workflow. The Hi5-12G bridges these resolution gaps, allowing you to use an UltraHD monitor in a 4K production environment, or a 4K monitor in an UltraHD production environment.

The Hi5-12G also supports High Frame Rate (HFR) input. You can input a 4K/UltraHD signal at 50fps or 60fps into the Hi5-12G, and see up to 60p output on a compatible HDMI 2.0 connected display.
