Equipped with an advanced 64-bit native audio engine, record with renowned high-quality sound
Equipped with an advanced audio engine that handles 64-bit double internal processing and clear sound. Supporting audio formats up to 24-bit/192kHz*, you can capture even the musician's breathing with quality approaching the original. You can also record dry sound for pre-recording or post-processing using up to 16 recording effects. (Elements supports up to 16 effects on Pre.)
Supports single-window mode. Excellent visibility and operability without the high functionality
The Song Editor, which is the core of music production, along with the Mixer Console, Media Browser, Step Sequencer, Piano Roll Editor, Score Editor, Step Editor, and other editors, are all displayed in a single window.
Excellent visibility allows you to create a comfortable and speedy music production environment regardless of your computer's display size.
Even in one-window mode, you can display each window floating depending on the editing content and operation.
Intelligent Compose, Arrange, and Remix Support Function
Equipped with the proprietary ""C.A.E3"" arranging algorithm, the intelligent Compose, Arrange, and Remix function supports composition.
By specifying chord progressions, combining the included chord progression database* with AUDIO & MIDI performance phrases and accompaniment patterns, creators can realize their inspiration and quickly assemble songs. Expandable, you can add original performance phrases and patterns in addition to the included patterns, allowing for a wide variety of arrangements and remixes. The Scale window displays usable scales based on the specified chord name in staff notation or guitar fret notation. This is also effective for creating melody lines and improvisations.
The new CHORD PAD supports the design of accurate and varied chord progressions.
Contains 430 chord progressions and 300 melodic chord progressions.
Use music theory to help you design accurate and varied chord progressions
The newly added CHORD PAD uses the key of the song you're creating and the currently selected chord to suggest the next optimal chord or chord that is theoretically usable, organized by chord type and degree name. It helps you design accurate and varied chord progressions without requiring music theory.
Even if you're already skilled at chord progression patterns, this tool will help you spark new ideas.
A media browser for centralized management of music production materials
Centrally manage chord progressions, MIDI arrangement data, AUDIO/MIDI phrase data, and MIDI phrase recording data that can be used in music production. Quickly assemble songs with just a mouse by dragging and dropping from previews to the song editor.
AUDIO Phrases, MIDI Phrases
Includes approximately 70 genres and 4,100 types of audio phrase data (ACID files).
The built-in high-quality time stretching and pitch shifting engine transposes and stretches ACID files with key and tempo information set to match the root and tempo of the chord specified at the input position, with high-quality sound.
Tempo stretching and key changes are also possible for audio data other than ACID files, as well as recorded audio data.
By acidizing input or previously input audio data (using the ACID file conversion command), tempo stretching and key changes can be performed to match the tempo and key set for the song.
It follows changes in the song tempo even after audio input.
Equipped with a step sequencer ideal for fast entry of drum patterns and repeating dance/club phrases.
Quickly create drum patterns and repeating dance/club phrases.
Supporting notes down to 64th notes, you can create drum and sequence patterns simply by clicking each step of the notes assigned to each line. Conversely, you can also edit previously entered MIDI phrase data using the step sequencer.
MIDI sequencing function reproduces your own unique performance
In addition to real-time and step input using MIDI devices such as external keyboards, you can also enter MIDI data using a mouse or computer keyboard in various editors such as the piano roll editor, score editor, and step editor. The step editor in particular allows for speedy input by manipulating various parameters such as velocity and deviation, allowing for precise or loose input with the utmost precision.
