Supporting audio formats up to 24-bit/192kHz*, you can capture even the musician's breathing with quality approaching the original. You can also record dry sound for post-production using up to 16 recording effects (up to 16 for Elements Pre).
During recording, you can create up to 64 virtual tracks per audio track. After recording, you can select the best take in Active mode or combine the best phrase parts from each take in Chain mode to create a take without compromise.

Expandable, you can add original performance phrases and patterns in addition to the included patterns, allowing for a wide variety of arrangements and remixes. The Scale window displays available scales based on the specified chord name, displayed in staff notation or guitar fret notation. This is also effective for creating melody lines and improvisations.

A media browser for centralized management of music production materials
Centrally manage chord progressions, MIDI arrangement data, AUDIO/MIDI phrase data, and MIDI phrase recording data that can be used in music production. Quickly assemble songs with just a mouse by dragging and dropping from previews to the song editor.

AUDIO Phrases, MIDI Phrases
Includes approximately 70 genres and 4,100 types of audio phrase data (ACID files).

The built-in high-quality time stretching and pitch shifting engine transposes and stretches ACID files with key and tempo information, matching the root and tempo of the chord specified at the input position with high-quality sound.

Includes a step sequencer ideal for quickly creating drum patterns and repeating dance and club phrases

Supporting up to 64th notes, you can create drum patterns and sequence patterns simply by clicking each step of the notes set for each line. Conversely, you can also use the step sequencer to edit MIDI phrase data that has already been entered.

MIDI sequencing functionality lets you recreate your perfect performance.

In addition to real-time and step input using external keyboards and other MIDI devices, you can enter MIDI data using a mouse or computer keyboard in various editors, including the Piano Roll Editor, Score Editor, and Step Editor. The Step Editor, in particular, allows for speedy input by manipulating parameters such as Velocity and Deviation, allowing for precise or loose input with exceptional precision.

Vocal Editor and Beat Editor: Give your audio data freedom.

The Vocal Editor automatically detects the pitch and time of melody lines and displays each note individually as a block. Easily adjust pitch, duration, timing, and vibrato settings with drag-and-drop, a task that would normally be extremely difficult.

The Beat Editor allows you to correct rhythmic imperfections in guitar and drum recordings, replace phrases, and create new beats from audio recordings. What's more, the quantize function makes it easy to correct and adjust the timing of notes while preserving precise timing and natural nuances.

*The included drum sound source, ""FXpansion BFD Eco,"" will no longer be available on March 31, 2021, as production and support for it has ended at the developer's end. Starting April 1, 2021, ""IK Multimedia MODO DRUM SE"" will be available for download.
