BAE / 1023 Mic Preamp/EQ

A channel strip equipped with a Carnhill transformer. Compared to the company's ""1073"", this model has a higher Mid/High frequency design in the EQ section.

■Channel Strip

The 1023 is a fully hand-wired channel strip using Carnhill (St. Ives) transformers. It has the exact same mic/line preamps as the 1073, but with a significantly higher Mid/High section. As well as offering more frequency settings, the extended EQ section allows you to directly manipulate the curve of the mid bell against the overlapping high/low, allowing for more musical sound creation.
