● The size that drums should be
With aDrums, we believe that the match between the feel and appearance of each instrument's size and the sound that resonates from them is what enhances the player's performance expression. In addition to attractive appearances such as an 18"" kick, 13"" snare, 14"" hi-hat, and 18"" ride cymbal, it is an exquisite size that is not too large for home or studio use, while respecting the same feel and distance as an acoustic drum.

Also, by giving the kick and floor tom ample depth, you can experience the solid, heavy bass of the aD5 visually and with feel.

●Dynamics on par with acoustic drums

With conventional electronic drums, there is a hot spot that produces an abnormally loud sound when the center of the head is struck, so the sound source also narrows the range of dynamics (loudness and softness) to make it less noticeable.

With the aDrums, multi-sensors are used on the drums and cymbals to equalize the sensitivity of the striking surface, making it possible to express the intended sound from pianissimo to fortissimo. The groove created by freely controlling the large dynamics like those of an acoustic drum brings out the individuality of the performer.

●Flexible side stick
Makes playing with a side stick even more comfortable. The side rim, with its beautiful contrast between the wood grain and lacquer paint, is made of maple, which is ideal for the newly developed detection technology based on natural vibration frequency. The wooden striking feel and side stick sound match perfectly, providing excellent playability. Unlike previous side sticks, You can play rim shots and side sticks without switching with a button, greatly expanding the freedom of your performance.

●Precise pedal work detection
The hi-hat is the most delicately controlled part in drum performance. Conventional electronic hi-hats often use contact sensors, which have limitations in their detection accuracy and tracking. The aDrums hi-hat uses a non-contact sensor, allowing for highly accurate sensing with no delay even when opening and closing quickly.
The aD5's hi-hat control algorithm has also been optimized for this new sensor, achieving even greater expressiveness and accuracy.

●More freedom for cymbals
The newly designed pivot allows for natural swaying in all directions. Cymbals that can be played all around do not require troublesome parts such as rotation stoppers, and can be simply placed on a cymbal stand in the same way as acoustic cymbals.

We also paid particular attention to the overall deflection of the cymbal when the edge is struck and the thickness of the tip, and pursued a playing feel like that of a bronze cymbal, even with a silicone rubber surface that has excellent noise reduction.

●Kick that supports the groove
The kick, which is the axis that supports the performance, needs stability and high-speed pronunciation. The unique cushioning structure that achieves both damping and sensing of the impact of the beater has achieved a solid feel and high-speed pronunciation.
