■Conditions for purchasing the Academic version

・Only students of the following educational institutions can purchase this product.
Public and private schools (elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, vocational schools, universities, junior colleges, and graduate schools),
vocational training schools (or public vocational training facilities established by local governments),
facilities established by the national or local government for the purpose of training teachers (boards of education, education centers/educational research institutes),
blind schools, schools for the deaf, and schools for the disabled.

・To purchase this product, you will need to submit a copy of your student ID (document that can prove that you are a student, etc.) and the Academic version purchase application form. If you do not submit the application, you will not be able to receive support from the manufacturer.

- Academic products are prohibited from being transferred to third parties other than the purchaser, resold, reprinted, donated, or used as prizes.

■How to purchase an academic version
There are two ways to apply for an academic version. Please use the method that suits you best.

◇How to use the academic version application form

①Access the manufacturer's website application form.

②Fill in the required information. You can upload a file to prove your academic status, such as a student ID or teacher ID, in the final question.

◇When sending the application form
①Download the Academic Edition Purchase Application Form (PDF)

②Print out the downloaded file, fill in the necessary information, and fax it along with a copy of your student ID, or send it by email as an attachment.

Information about free upgrade

Customers who purchased any DP10 series (regular version, upgrade version, crossgrade version, academic version) after March 1, 2021 can upgrade to DP11 free of charge. Customers who are eligible should contact the dealer at shop@h-resolution.com with the following information.

- Full name
- Login email address for the MOTU account where the DP10 series is registered
- Data that can confirm the purchase date of the DP10 series (receipt, copy of email from the retailer as proof of purchase, etc.)
- DP serial number (not a key code for authentication)

* It may take some time to process the free upgrade. While you wait for the process, you can enjoy the 30-day demo version of DP11.

■ Simple package version
A simple package with a serial number will be delivered to your specified address. The serial number will be registered on the manufacturer's website and the installer will be downloaded.

■ Clip window for triggering loops/phrases
The new Clips Window adds loop trigger functionality to Digital Performer. It is now possible to trigger clips in real time by dragging and dropping audio or MIDI from the content browser, which was also newly installed in DP 10, into the clip window. This will be useful for live performances and will give you inspiration when producing music. It supports triggering of individual clips, any clip across multiple tracks, or entire rows (scene clips across all tracks).

DP's unique clip cueing allows you to stack clip sequences in advance, so there is no need to trigger them manually. When inspiration strikes while working with a laptop or MIDI controller, you can add or remove clips instantly. The Clip Window allows clip triggering in addition to traditional linear track-based playback, and supports stage operation and live mixing. DP is the foundation for the best live performance. DP is now not only a creative production tool, but also a true professional DAW that covers diversified needs for live performance.

■Stretch Audio
From deep editing of individual beats to changing the overall tempo, Stretch Audio makes it faster and easier to operate. Select individual audio beats and adjust the timing. Use the new Stretch Edit layer to manipulate anchor points and achieve the rhythmic timing you imagined exactly. For global tempo control, simply enable Stretch mode and your entire audio track will instantly conform to the tempo and timeline, even with tempo changes.

DP 10's magical Beat Detection finds rhythmic audio beats in individual loops, multi-channel stems, and fully mixed audio. Once beats are detected, use DP's new Stretch Audio feature and DP's industry-leading Tempo Change feature to instantly match your audio to your project's tempo and timeline.
