A highly functional pedal with a useful fuzz and effects loop

In addition to the germanium/silicon switch, smooth edge switch, and 60s/70s tone switch, the TightFuzz Pro has a 3-band EQ that allows you to freely control the overall tone balance, and the Amptweaker's unique Tight control allows you to adjust the low end and fuzz attack. The auto bias function allows you to always create the optimal sound for your gain setting.

The difference between TightFuzz Pro and many ""reissue"" fuzzes is that there is a Tight control before the fuzz circuit. This allows the buffer to pass through the front stage of the fuzz circuit. Many fuzz circuits, especially when connecting signals with low output impedance such as wah or overdrive, or connecting a guitar with active pickups, may not be able to produce the optimal tone due to input matching. By passing the optimal buffer here, TightFuzz Pro can always operate optimally without having to consider the input impedance.

Unlike many ""boosted fuzz pedals"", TightFuzz Pro has two built-in boosts. One is a pre-boost and the other is a post-boost. You can freely boost the gain and volume to create the perfect tone for your lead parts. This boost can be controlled with the Boost Volume and Boost Gain knobs, and can also be set to lower the volume, so you can control the volume balance by turning the boost ON/OFF while boosting the gain strongly. In addition, the Octave switch adds an octave up when boosting, giving your lead tone a psychedelic color. The internal trim pot also allows you to adjust the strength of the octave.

The TightFuzz Pro's Smooth Edge switch cuts the roughness of the high end to create a warm tone. By combining it with the High control, you can freely control the ""warmth"" of the tone.
The internal More Fuzz switch allows you to apply more fuzz when the fuzz is not enough with low output pickups.
It also features a new ""Cleaner"" noise gate. It reduces noise without adding unnecessary distortion.

The TightFuzz Pro also features an effects loop that is familiar from the Amptweaker pedal. Like other Pro series, three effect loops allow for flexible operation. The loops are a universal loop that is linked to the ON/OFF of the effect, a boost loop that is linked to the ON/OFF of the Boost, and a SideTrak loop that is only turned on when the effect is OFF.
For example, if you want to apply a compressor or chorus when using a clean tone, or if you want to switch between another distortion pedal and the TightFuzz Pro in one shot, connect it to the SideTrak loop. If you use it like a built-in AB box, you can also separate the amp when the effect is OFF and ON.
The universal loop and boost loop, which are active when the effect is ON and when the boost is ON, can be individually switched to either the pre (front stage) or post (rear stage) of the effect circuit by the internal switch.
The TightFuzz Pro can be operated at 18V not only when it is powered by an adapter but also when it is powered by batteries. Two batteries can be placed inside, and the operating voltage can be selected by the internal switch. The battery box is magnetic, so no tools are required to open and close it. When powered by an adapter, it can be operated at 9V (EPA-2000 recommended) or 18V (RPA-1000 recommended). 9V and 18V operation is like the difference between a 50W and a 100W amplifier. When powered by an adapter, the LEDs are always lit up on the knobs, so you can see the settings at a glance. There is also a power switch behind the row of knobs, so you can reduce battery consumption even if you install it on the board with the batteries still inserted. ●Features
