This is a high-gain distortion pedal with an unparalleled wide range of gain settings equipped with a Tight control. TightDrive was designed by James Brown, an engineer who has developed amplifiers with many world-famous artists.

TightDrive is a high-gain distortion, but by combining Gain, Tone, Volume and the Tight control, you can create a variety of distortions. You can freely create anything from blues tones that are on the border between clean sound and distortion, crunch that is perfect for rhythm sounds, and high-gain sounds like a high-output tube amp at full throttle.
Unlike many distortion pedals, TightDrive can achieve its maximum potential not only with clean amps but also with high-gain amps.

The biggest feature of TightDrive is the Tight control. From our experience of making numerous amps, Amptweaker has learned that guitarists are looking for a tight low-end distortion sound.
This Tight control allows you to adjust the attack of the amp as you like. You can easily create a smooth attack for a flowing lead tone, a heavy attack for a crisp rhythm sound, or an attack for a more aggressive and attacking sound.

TightDrive also has an effects loop. This loop can be placed either before or after TightDrive with a single switch. Effects connected to this loop are bypassed at the same time as the TightDrive main unit is bypassed. By combining it with various effects such as boosters, other distortions, equalizers, delays, compressors, and half-stopped wah pedals, you can create infinite sounds.

In addition, it is equipped with a battery disconnect switch that can turn off the power of the main unit when using batteries, so you can reduce battery consumption while leaving the cable connected inside the effects board. Also, when using the adapter, LEDs light up each knob, allowing you to instantly understand and change settings even on a dark stage.
