The Misery Index TightMetal JR is a limited edition pedal featuring artwork by the world-famous death metal band Misery Index. The custom graphics were created by Gary Ronaldson of Bite Radius Designs, who also designed the album art, layout, and jacket for the album ""The Killing Gods.""

The TightMetal JR is a high-quality high-gain distortion pedal that condenses the sound of the globally popular Amptweaker TightMetal into a compact pedal.

It creates sounds ranging from old-school metal to modern high-gain sounds, and is particularly effective when combined with a clean amp.

The EQ switch allows you to create a thrash sound with a deep midrange, and a warm, smooth sound that is perfect for lead tones.

You can also get closer to the tone of Amptweaker's black/doom metal pedal, FatMetal, by switching the Tight switch to Fat mode.

●JR Series
The Amptweaker JR series was born from the request of many people to create the high-quality sound of an amp tweaker in a small pedal.
It was completed by inheriting as many functions as possible of Amptweaker's standard model and incorporating the experience of the multifunctional Pro series.

Although functions such as the effect loop, LEDs that illuminate the control knobs, and power switches have been reduced, the functions related to tone are concentrated as much as possible in this size.

In particular, the Tight switch that switches the output of the low end and the EQ switch that controls the entire EQ both have three modes. By being able to select normal mode and two modes, you can set it according to your preferences and equipment.

Although it is the same size as many compact effectors, the housing is original to Amptweaker. It is a slanted housing that makes it easy to operate the foot switch and avoids accidentally stepping on the knob on stage as much as possible, and the back panel can be removed with one thumb screw. In other words, no tools such as a screwdriver are required when changing the battery. The bottom of the back panel is flat, making it easy to attach hook-and-loop fasteners.
In addition, the back panel has a ""tie-wrap hole"" that can be used to attach the pedal to a pedal board such as a slatted type pedal board with a cable tie, and a ""screw hole"" that can be used to screw the pedal to the pedal board. You can attach only the back panel to the pedal board and remove only the pedal with a thumb screw to replace the battery.
This is a compact pedal made with the player's perspective in mind.
Equipped with a true bypass switch, it can be powered by a 9V battery or a 9-18V adapter. There is a difference in dynamics like a 50W amp at 9V and a 100W amp at 18V.
Controls
・Volume: This is the master volume that adjusts the output volume. It can also be boosted.
・Tone: Adjusts the output of the high range. You can strengthen the highs or balance them with the lows.
・Gain: Adjusts distortion. It can handle everything from vintage tones to modern high gain.
・EQ switch: Thrash cuts the mids and adds edge, while Smooth creates a warm mid-boosted tone.

・Tight switch: Tight creates an aggressive attack, while Fat creates a thicker, more ""singing"" distortion.

・Noise Gate: Setting it higher strongly attenuates hum noise.
