This convenient unit compensates for changes in sound depending on the playing environment. It can be used between the guitar and amp, or in the effects loop, without the need for a power supply.

This is a pedal from Amptweaker, a legendary amp builder. It's not just an ""external tone control"".

It's a pedal that selects three bands and cuts the highs, but it's designed with low impedance to prevent unnecessary noise. It's used in combination with other effects and buffers. It can also be put in the effect loop of an amp. It's easy to use. Just connect it and then use the switches and knobs to create the sound you want.

All you need is a patch cable. With just this, the sound will change.

For example, the characteristics of the sound change depending on the stage. Especially with single coils and Fender amps, the sound can inevitably resonate harshly. Especially in such venues, just install it on the board. This means you can adjust the tone for each venue during the rehearsal stage.

It is also effective when you want to distort your amp at home. You can naturally correct the glaring distortion of digital systems without using batteries or adapters.

The Amptweaker DeFizzerator is a simple low impedance passive equalizer.
It can adjust the ultra-high frequencies that are inevitably noticeable due to the characteristics of the amp and speaker. No power supply is required. By incorporating it into the amp's effect loop, pedal chain, switcher, etc., you can effectively control the tone. It is especially ideal for cutting unnecessary high frequencies when outputting distorted sounds from an amp in your room.

The DeFizzerator is equipped with a switch to set three frequency bands. The frequency bands set by the Fizz, Buzz, and Crackle switches are higher than many ""Tone"" and ""Treble"" controls, allowing you to adjust the edge of the tone.

The DeFizzerator is also ideal for the effect loop of the Amptweaker pedal. When using it in the loop of the Amptweaker pedal, it is more effective to set the loop to Post. If you have a Pro pedal, you can also incorporate it into the Boost loop to adjust the high frequencies when boosting.

When the gain is too high and the edges are too sharp, you can use the DeFizzerator to balance the overall tone instead of adjusting the EQ of the amp or pedal. The DeFizzerator is the easiest tool to fine-tune your pedals.

The DeFizzerator is designed with low impedance. It does not add any extra noise, but as with general effects, avoid using too long cables, wrapping the cable around the main unit, or placing it near a high-voltage transformer or large power supply. Since it is passive, it does not contain a buffer.

It is easy to use. Just connect the patch cable and set the knobs and switches. It is also good to try extreme settings to experience a different top-end sound.

If you set the knobs low in the Buzz and Crackle modes, which are the lower frequency ranges of the three modes, the volume may decrease. Adjust using the Volume knob of the amp or effect.
