A fuzz pedal that doesn't spoil the guitarist's expression. It provides a boost effect that is a little different from overdrive.

The Amptweaker BluesFuzz JR is a low-gain fuzz pedal that packs the tone of the ""BluesFuzz Limited"", of which only 49 units were produced in 2014, into a compact size.

Many old fuzz circuits cannot perform at their best with low output impedance pedals such as overdrives and wah pedals, or active pickups, and noise and feedback may occur. However, the BluesFuzz JR can perform fuzz in any connection order, just like many modern effects, by simulating the impedance of a typical guitar in the gain stage.

Distortion equivalent to low to medium gain overdrive. It is quite low gain for a fuzz pedal. However, it has a muddy sound unique to fuzz that is different from overdrive, and at the same time, it has a resolution that allows you to clearly capture the image of the sound. It outputs all your play without missing the flavor unique to fuzz.
Built-in auto bias control ensures a clean and natural tone at all times. You can create your tone in detail and with the boost switch, which is perfect for vintage pickups, the Tight switch, which switches the low-end output, and the Mid knob, which controls the midrange.

It can be driven not only by 9V but also by 18V. It can also create an open and high-headroom sound.

● JR Series
The Amptweaker JR series was born from numerous requests to create the high-quality sound of an amp tweaker in a small pedal.
It inherits as many of the functions of Amptweaker's standard models as possible and incorporates the experience of the multifunctional Pro series.

Although the functions such as the effect loop, the LED that illuminates the control knob, and the power switch have been reduced, the functions related to the tone are concentrated as much as possible in this size.

In particular, the Tight switch, which switches the low-end output, and the EQ switch, which controls the entire EQ, both have three modes. By being able to select normal mode and two modes, you can set it to suit your preferences and equipment.

Although it is the same size as many compact effects, the housing is original to Amptweaker. The slant-type housing makes it easy to operate the foot switch and prevents accidentally stepping on the wrong knob on stage, and the back panel can be removed with a single thumb screw. This means that no tools such as a screwdriver are required to replace the battery. The bottom of the back panel is flat, making it easy to attach the hook-and-loop fastener.
In addition, the back panel has a ""tie-wrap hole"" that can be used to secure the pedal to a pedal board such as a slatted board with a cable tie, and a ""screw hole"" that can be used to screw the pedal to the pedal board. You can also replace the battery by fixing only the back panel to the pedal board and removing only the pedal with the thumb screw.
This is a compact pedal made with the player's perspective in mind.
Equipped with a true bypass switch, it can be powered by a 9V battery or a 9-18V adapter. There is a difference in dynamics, like a 50W amp at 9V and a 100W amp at 18V.
