PRESONUS / I/O for NSB 8.8 digital mixer

The PreSonus NSB 8.8 is a rugged stage box that seamlessly integrates with StudioLive Series III. It allows signals to be routed from the stage to the mixer via an AVB network. Connecting via a single CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable is lightweight and lossless. The NSB Series' inputs, preamps, and phantom power settings can be remotely controlled.

■Seamless Integration with StudioLive Series III
This rugged stage box provides seamless integration with PreSonus StudioLive Series III. Signals can be routed from the stage to the mixer via an AVB network. Connection is lightweight and lossless, thanks to a single CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable. NSB Series input, preamp, and phantom power settings can be remotely controlled from a networked Series III or PreSonus UC Surface Touch Control software.

■Connection
Equipped with a locking combo jack featuring PreSonus's signature remotely controllable Class-A solid-state XMAX preamp. The output also features a locking XLR jack. Need more inputs and outputs? The built-in two-port AVB switch allows you to daisy-chain multiple units for even larger live performances.

■AVB Network
An AVB network enables long-distance digital audio connections, routing audio anywhere on the network with ultra-low latency. AVB offers numerous advantages as a network protocol. It provides a highly accurate clock and significantly reduces harmonic distortion and fading, ensuring clear, clean audio. AVB also reserves sufficient bandwidth for low-latency audio transmission, meaning you can even surf the web on the same network. These benefits are inherent to AVB. No special device configuration is required, and there is no AVB switch.

No matter how carefully you treat your stage box, damage is inevitable, especially on long tours. However, no stage box failure is acceptable, no matter how demanding the conditions. The NSB Series features a rugged steel chassis designed to withstand the rigors of touring. The NSB Series blends seamlessly into the stage and can also be rack-mounted using the optional rack ear kit.
