Q. What is the ATG-1?
A. This is an auto-tuning processor for guitars that brings together the technology of Antares, a leading company in voice correction systems. It is equipped with six independent signal processors that process the signals of each guitar string individually, and outputs the correct pitch with 11 models and 43 types of guitar sounds modeled with IR (impulse response) data from polyphonic signals such as Roland GK pickups and RMC Polydrive systems.
It also has effects such as ALT TUNING, which simulates open tuning and drop tuning, DOUBLING, which simulates 12-string guitars and 7-string guitars, CAPO, which allows you to freely transpose, and PITCH-SHIFT. It is packed with functions that allow you to realize playing styles that were previously impossible, such as preset guitar type and tuning settings, and changing an open A tuned 12-string acoustic guitar to a regular tuned Les Paul Special with a P90 rear pickup in one action.
Q. How do I install it?
A. By connecting a guitar equipped with a 13-pin polyphonic pickup such as a Roland GK pickup or an RMC Polydrive system to the ATG-1, you can tune it using only the on-board switch.

Q. What MIDI functions can be used?

A. Program change messages, MIDI control messages, and pitch bend change messages can be used.
Pitch bend change messages correspond to MIDI pitch bend change messages sent by the pitch bend wheel on a keyboard, etc.
In addition, a MIDI interface is required to connect the ATG-1 to a computer.
