Parasit Studio / The Arcadiator

The Arcadiator is an 8-bit fuzz that produces a retro sound reminiscent of 80's 8-bit game consoles. Octave down, octave up, pulse modulation and alternating octave. Combining octave down with a pulse modulation (PWM) signal gives you that classic sound.

The Arcadiator has two signal paths.
Path1: Octave up/PWM signal
Path2: Octave down (controlled only by LFO)

Level: Adjusts the overall volume.
Rate: Adjusts the LFO speed.
Width: Adjusts the intensity of the pulse modulation (PWM) or octave up.
Blend: Blends the two signal paths.

LFO switch: Switches the modulation between alternating octaves, OFF, and sputtering octaves. Triggered by guitar input.
PWM/1UP switch: Switches between pulse modulation signal and octave up.
OCTAVE switch: Selects octave down from 1 octave, 2 octaves, or both.
■Power supply: Powered by a center negative DC9V adapter. The current consumption is 13mA. Batteries cannot be used.
