The MiniBrute 2S combines analog synthesizer with an easy-to-use step sequencer and an exciting semi-modular architecture. Everything is geared towards inspiration. Sound parameters are clearly arranged, allowing you to create your own unique sounds. The multi-pattern, three-layer, 64-step sequencer opens up exciting new ways to create music, all while making programming incredibly easy. The MiniBrute 2S is a powerful standalone synth with versatile sound creation via the patchbay, and it also functions as the core of a modular system. By incorporating a modular synth into a RackBrute and combining it with the MiniBrute 2S, you can complete a stylish and powerful Eurorack ecosystem.
■ VCO 1
Sawtooth, pulse, and triangle waveforms each feature unique modifiers, plus direct FM control. Ultra Saw creates a thick sound, and Metalizer adds complex harmonics to the triangle wave. FM (frequency modulation) is also included for rich tones. ■ VCO 2
Select from sine, sawtooth, or square waves. Three tuning modes are available: fine (fine adjustment), coarse (coarse adjustment), and LFO operation.
■ Oscillator Mixer
Mix the levels of each VCO 1 waveform with VCO 2. Also available is mixing with the noise generator and external audio input.
■ Steiner-Parker Multimode Filter
Four modes for a robust sound: low pass, high pass, band pass, and notch. Resonance can be self-oscillated.
■ 4-Stage Envelope
ADSR-type envelope generator.
■ Brute Factor?
You can freely change the sound from a gentle overdrive at low settings to a destructive sound with complex waveform changes at maximum settings.
■ AD Envelope
Operates as an AD envelope with attack and decay only, or an AHR envelope with attack, hold, and release, and can also be looped. Attack and decay times can also be controlled with CV. ■ Patchbay
Equipped with a total of 48 CV inputs and outputs, it can control various synth and sequencer parameters. It also has a built-in utility module, allowing for even more diverse sound creation.

■ Two LFOs
Each LFO has six built-in waveforms and can be synchronized with the sequencer. High-speed modulation is also possible.

■ Three-Track, 64-Step Sequencer
The main track controls pitch, gate, velocity, and pressure, while SEQ2 and SEQ3 provide additional control (gate, CV, pitch, LFO, envelope). Input methods are real-time and step.

■ Pads and Encoders
The 16 pressure- and velocity-sensitive pads can be played like a keyboard to input sequences. The encoders allow parameter editing for each step.

■ 64 Patterns
A total of 64 patterns can be stored in 24 banks. Patterns can also be chained to create longer patterns or songs.
■Sync
Can be synchronized with MIDI, USB, or analog clock.
■Arpeggio/Loop
Generate arpeggios by pressing the pads, or loop portions of a sequence. All can be synchronized to the clock, making it ideal for performance.
■Audio In/Out
Line output, headphone output.
■MIDI In/Out
Connect to a DAW or hardware MIDI device for synchronized performance.
■USB In/Out
In addition to being able to control the MiniBrute 2S from a DAW, you can also use the MiniBrute 2S as a master keyboard.
