Live 10 features new devices that deliver even more diverse and clear sound. A significantly improved workflow makes music creation even smoother. Push lets you steer clear of your computer. Create your own music with a newly curated sound library. Full integration with Max for Live expands Live's possibilities. (Max for Live is sold separately for all versions except Suite.)

New Devices in Live 10
Four new devices—Wavetable, Echo, Drum Buss, and Pedal—enable you to create diverse sounds using Live's instruments and effects.

Capture
Even if you come up with an idea without planning to record it, you can now bring it into Live and turn it into music. Create a MIDI track and set it to playback. Play and when you find a phrase you like, press the Capture button. Live automatically matches the tempo and timing, so your melody or groove will play back as a beautiful loop. Use Capture to further develop your song. Add new parts or overdub MIDI signals onto the current track. Simply press Capture when you've played something you like, allowing you to continue creating without interruption.

Editing Multiple MIDI Clips
Work with multiple parts, such as drums, bass, chords, and melody. In both Session and Arrangement view modes, multiple MIDI tracks and clips are displayed on a single screen, allowing for more efficient editing and a clearer understanding of the relationships between tracks.

Seamless Arrangement
The Arrangement View has been simplified for faster editing and more efficient composing. Easily stretch clips and slide elements within them, and even create audio fades using new clip interaction features in the Arrangement View. Automation now offers even more control with grid snapping, more breakpoints, and more.

Live 10 is available in three versions: Intro, Standard, and Suite. While the core features are the same, Standard and Suite versions include additional features, instruments, packs, and effects.
