DR / NBB5-45

These nickel bass strings feature DR's proprietary ""K3"" coating, which creates a blue glow when exposed to light. Available in gauges from 45-125, these are a standard model for 5-string basses. Not only do they have a striking appearance, but they also boast greater output and a clearer sound with fewer unwanted overtones than non-coated strings. They also offer superior corrosion resistance and last longer than regular strings.

・LEVEL: Adjusts the volume of the drive signal. Allows you to fine-tune the blend or push the tube preamp.
・BLEND: Adjusts the balance between the clean and drive signals. Adjusts from completely clean to fully wet.
・GAIN: Adjusts the intensity and sensitivity of the distortion. Higher settings increase response to string vibration.
・HARM: Sets the intensity of the high-frequency components sent to the drive.
・FAT: Sets the intensity of the low-frequency components sent to the drive. This switch allows you to adjust the sonic characteristics of the drive from overdrive to distortion.

BUZZ's specially designed EQ characteristics make it effective even for direct recording.
The HARM switch cuts most of the high-frequency components sent to the drive circuit in the upper position. The center position leaves no high-frequency cut, while the lower position slightly cuts high-frequency components.
The FAT switch maximizes the low-frequency components sent to the drive circuit in the upper position. The lower position slightly cuts low-frequency components, while the center position minimizes low-frequency components, creating an overdrive-like tone.
