These nickel bass strings feature DR's proprietary ""K3"" coating, creating a green glow when exposed to light. Available in gauges ranging from 45-125, these are a standard model for 5-string basses. Not only do they have a striking appearance, but they also boast greater output and a clearer sound with fewer unwanted overtones than non-coated strings. They also offer superior corrosion resistance and last longer than standard strings.
