Variations

The Control 18C/T-BK is a ceiling-mounted speaker that delivers uniform sound over a wide area. It features a coaxial speaker unit with a high-frequency driver positioned at the center of the low-frequency driver. The large 8-inch low-frequency driver delivers powerful sound. With a maximum sound pressure level of 118dB SPL, it performs well in spaces with high ceilings or in noisy environments. Available in black.

■The Control 10 Series incorporates a combination of various technologies to achieve the superior sound characteristic of JBL PROFESSIONAL. It delivers clear announcements and comfortable background music with uniform sound quality over a wide area. It creates a comfortable acoustic space in small to medium-sized facilities such as stores, hotels, conference rooms, and educational facilities.

■ Superior sound achieved through the optimal combination of numerous technologies

・Features a coaxial speaker unit with a high-frequency driver positioned at the center of the low-frequency driver.

・The low-frequency driver uses a lightweight, heat-resistant aluminum bobbin and a voice coil with excellent heat resistance. Even with continuous high sound pressure, changes in sound quality are minimized.

・The high-frequency driver employs a center dome made of a material with excellent attenuation characteristics, producing a clear and warm sound. Furthermore, the lightweight, heat-resistant Kapton? bobbin and magnetic fluid cooling mechanism improve frequency response and reliability. The waveguide is also uncompromising, delivering uniform sound across the entire coverage area.

■ Versatile and suitable for various venues

・The Control12C/T and Control14C/T have a wide coverage angle, covering a large area with a single unit. Because fewer units are needed, they can be introduced even in venues with strict budget constraints. The Control16C/T and Control18C/T achieve high maximum sound pressure levels, making them ideal for spaces with high ceilings or noisy environments.

* In addition to low-impedance connections, the built-in transformer allows for high-impedance connections as well. A single power amplifier can efficiently drive multiple speakers, minimizing sound quality degradation during long-distance transmission.

* The speaker surface uses flame-retardant and UV-resistant materials, while the cone is made of polypropylene and the surrounding edge is made of butyl rubber, ensuring high durability even in humid environments.

* Available in white and black (-BK), the speaker's edge and grille can be painted to match the interior of the installation location. A shield to protect the driver during painting is also included.

■ Quick and easy installation from inside the room without needing to access the ceiling space.

* Includes an opening template for drilling holes in the ceiling, C-shaped support brackets for ceiling reinforcement, and support rails.

* The connection terminals use Euroblock connectors with removable terminal sections, allowing for wiring without lifting the speaker. It also features a loop-through terminal for outputting signals to other speakers.
