■Channel Strip

This one-channel channel strip features a vacuum tube microphone preamp, equalizer, and compressor/limiter. The 676 represents DBX's 40-plus year history of dynamic processing. It delivers the lustrous, warm sound of vacuum tubes, allowing musicians to creatively achieve their desired sound. It's ideal for a wide range of applications, from recording to live performances.

◎In addition to an XLR microphone input, the 676 also features a standard phone jack instrument input, allowing direct connection of high-impedance instruments like electric guitars. In addition to a post-compressor/limiter line output, the unit also features a preamp output that can extract the post-EQ, pre-compressor signal. The post-preamp has an insert terminal, and the compressor has a sidechain terminal, allowing for use with external processors. The front panel features a vintage VU meter that can be switched to display input, output, or gain reduction. It also features a 20dB pad, +48V phantom power, a polarity reverse switch, and an 80Hz low-cut filter. Specifications
