JBL's classic Control series of facility speakers has been upgraded and renewed. The Control28-1 is an 8-inch model with 240W (8Ω) and 60W (100V line). It offers improved sound quality, output, coverage, and weather resistance. It can be installed indoors or outdoors, and its compatibility with both high and low impedance makes it ideal for a variety of applications, including stores, hotels, and conference rooms.

- Improved high- and low-frequency drivers deliver thick, powerful bass, increased sensitivity, and power handling. The heat-resistant glass fiber cone allows for continuous playback of high-volume sounds. Delivers stable, high-quality sound even in harsh environments.

- Coverage of 100° x 100°, approximately 10% larger than previous models. Provides extremely consistent sound both on-axis and off-axis, allowing for wide coverage with fewer speakers.

- Highly weather-resistant for outdoor installation.

The enclosure meets IP-44 dust and water protection standards.

Features proprietary WeatherEdge, which uses moisture-resistant butyl rubber on the cone edge.

The metal grille is zinc-plated for rust prevention, and the connection terminals are more corrosion-resistant than conventional models.
