TASCAM / DA-6400DP

The TASCAM DA-6400dp is a 64-channel digital multitrack recorder. It supports a variety of audio interfaces, including MADI and Dante. It offers flexible connectivity, including MADI, Dante, AES/EBU inputs and outputs, and analog outputs, and can be synchronized with a Pro Tools system for backup recording.

This 64-channel digital multitrack recorder supports various audio interfaces, including MADI and Dante. The audio interface uses a card slot, and by selecting from a lineup of optional interface cards, flexible connections are possible, including MADI, Dante, AES/EBU input/output, and analog output. Up to two interface cards can be used, allowing for simultaneous recording across two interfaces and input/output signal conversion.

◆Connects to a computer via USB 3.0, and supports 64 channels of recording/playback at 48kHz/24bit PCM and 32 channels at 96kHz/24bit PCM. The SSD is built into the storage case and attaches to the front panel of the DA-6400, allowing for easy media swapping.
◆In addition to synchronized recording with a Pro Tools system using timecode, the DA-6400's recording can be controlled from Pro Tools via external serial/parallel control.
The DA-6400 series, equipped with remote control/LAN functionality, can be used not only for backup purposes but also for existing multi-playback applications, providing ease of use that matches a variety of systems.

Recording and playback are PCM, supporting 48kHz/24-bit for 64 channels and 96kHz/24-bit for 32 channels.

Backup recording is possible through synchronized operation with a Pro Tools system.

The built-in recording media can be inserted and removed using the bay on the front panel, or connected via USB as an external drive to a computer. (The AK-CC25 is included with the unit.)

Equipped with a highly visible color LCD display (320 x 120 pixels).

Two audio slots allow for flexible input and output using an optional interface card.

Standalone operation allows for simple startup, recording, and playback.
