EMG / 89R BBC

The EMG 89 is a pickup with a built-in dual coil (humbucker) and single coil that can be switched between the two. It uses an Alnico 5 magnet and is designed to produce a sound similar to the 85 in dual coil mode and a sound similar to the SA in single coil mode. The reverse type produces a sweeter sound with the single coil.
